The LifeSavers Foundation ("LSF"), headquartered in Richardson, Texas, was formed in 2002 by a group of women who were united in their vision to assist underserved women and teens who are facing unplanned pregnancies and who are without resources. LSF initially raised funds via an annual luncheon to purchase hard goods for these women. In late 2003, LSF expanded its scope of clients and source of funds by opening a resale store to fund its program in addition to its annual fundraiser. Since its inception, the LifeSavers Foundation has been able to empower over 18,500 clients through the voucher system and the resale stores,Donate over $310,000 worth of merchandise to needy single parents and families, Aid over 50 women leaving sexually-oriented business, Provide sonograms and pregnancy tests to over 1,000 clients through the Community Mobile Sonogram and Sell over 250,000 discounted items at the resale stores.
The Goal:
LSF contacted Dallas Partners to help build brand value and promote awareness of it's services. The organization has grown to become a very important resource for a number of families, but the existing online marketing presence wasn't communicating the same level of professionalism. LSF needed a website that communicate a professional presence, act as a events organization tool and to increase online donations.
The Solutions:
Home Page
The LSF website would result in a near complete overhaul of the organization's brand. The design compliments the existing logo and builds on the imagery of a lifesaver by using a nautical and oceanic theme. The primary Call-To-Action on the website asks the visitor to donate time or money. Monetary Donations use a PayPal interface. A part of LSF revenues are generated by selling donated items through EBay. The home page integrates the LSF EBay store by displaying out the top two EBay items.
