The Goal:

Jack Boles initially contacted Dallas Partners to upgrade their website look and feel. After a successful project, Dallas Partners was consulted to help determine the best approach for allowing customers to pay their bills online. A custom solution would need to be crafted. The website would have to display and let users interact or update account information, billing details and invoice information. It would also have to take credit card payments and post transactions to the users accounts. The account and invoice information would have to read and write to two separate accounting systems, one of which would need a custom API to be built. Both accounting systems would be on a separate network than the website and the highest level of security would need to be implemented. 

The Solutions:

Home Page The home page which is a simple design, serves out flash and simple content. To include an online payment system, it would have to contain a complex authentication provider so that existing users could easily create an account without having to require manual work by the Jack Boles Staff. Online Invoicing Once the user logs into the system, the user may update account details, view an invoice or pay a bill. All invoices are recreated into printer friendly documents and are exportable to PDFs on the fly.
Paying a bill Once the user pays the bill, the credit card is charged by the ACH and money is deposited into the Jack Boles merchant account. Then the user details are updated in the Jack Boles accounting systems (depending on the bill type) through an encrypted connection. Many innovate process were created for this project.
